Does everyone remember the 930 years of life of Adam at the beginning of the Ancient Testament ? The Bible says « Adam lived as a whole 930 years, then he died ». The Laacher See plume was seen since Iberia (the name of then) and was seen trampling on humans literally. That is why humans lived no more than 500 years and usually 120 years and no more after the beginning of that. Methuselah adds that he was the last one to escape because he lived on the Southern edge and narrowly escaped the fallout.
